Abstract

Primary mediastinal seminoma is a rare clinical entity and it is included in the germ cell tumours of the mediastinum. ln spite of its high malignancy, and of being sintomatic in about 80% of the cases, often it is only suspected when it becames so large that it is impossible to ressect it completely. We report a clinical case of a inoperable mediastinal seminoma occurring in a 41- year-old man, making the review of the literature with emphasis on the therapeutic strategy.
