Controlo da hiperglicemia na síndrome coronária aguda

Resumo

Além da evidente associação entre a diabetes e resistência
à insulina e a doença coronária, a constatação da presença
frequente de hiperglicémia na Síndrome Coronária Aguda e a
noção da sua relação com evolução desfavorável, permitem uma
abordagem a esta temática na tentativa de melhorar a actuação nesta patologia.
Nos últimos anos, vários estudos permitiram estabelecer com
segurança, a relação entre hiperglicémia e evolução desfavorável
no SCA, bem como o efeito benéfico do controlo terapêutico adequado.
Recentemente a American Heart Association publicou uma
norma científica sobre este tema.
Os autores pretendem, com este artigo de revisão, sugerir uma
actuação adequada para controlo da hiperglicémia no doente com
Síndrome Coronária Aguda.
