Resumo

A dieta vegetariana está associada a uma noção de padrão saudável de nutrição; contudo, os seus benefícios e, principalmente,
os seus riscos não estão perfeitamente documentados.
O autor analisa as características da dieta vegetariana, as suas
deficiências e eventuais virtudes e pretende dotar o profissional de
saúde de noções básicas na abordagem da nutrição do indivíduo
vegetariano.
