Os autores apresentam o caso clínico de um tumor raro num
doente admitido por queixas de dor lombar, febre, emagrecimento e massa da parede torácica.
Foi feito o diagnóstico de tumor de Askin, com base nos resultados dos exames radiológicos e achados histopatológicos.
Os autores, de seguida, apresentam o resultado de uma revisão
da literatura dos tumores neuroectodérmicos primitivos.
