Abstract

The authors present a case of an uncommon tumour in a patient
admitted complaining of lumbar pain, fever, weight loss and a chest wall mass.
The diagnosis of an Askin tumour was made following radiological exams and microscopic findings.
The authors present the results of a review of the literature
about primitive neuroectodermal tumours.
