Abstract

Idiopathic Hypereosinophilic Syndrome is a rare disease of unknown etiology. It´s characterized by sustained peripheral eosinophilia and end-organ/system dysfunction. It may present itself in
many different clinical manifestations and has variable prognoses.
The cardiac involvement is frequent and eosinophil-mediated.
The authors describe a clinical case of eosinophilic myocarditis of
complex diagnosis and review the clinical and therapeutic features
of this disease in light of this case.
