Abstract

Pheochromocytoma is a tumor with variable clinical features, and
rarely can it be diagnosed by a multiorgan failure, with cardiomyopathy, shock and pulmonary edema. We present two cases
that occurred recently in our department, with pheocromocytoma
crisis, and with a good outcome due to a prompt diagnosis and treatment.
We review the main clinical manifestations of pheochromocytoma and discuss this particular and rare presentation, outlining the
enormous diagnostic ability of this tumor.
