Abstract

With this article, the author hopes to promote a reflection concerning the origins of medical obstinacy attempting to identify professional and personal factors, which may eventually generate obstinate attitudes on the part of doctors. The principal aim being to raise certain issues and characterise medical obstinacy (diagnosis and treatment) integrally on the personal-professional levei of the doctor.
