Autoimmune diseases of the nervous system
Keywords:
autoantibody, autoimmune diseases, myasthenia gravis, inflammatory neuropathy, multiple sclerosisAbstract
As a growing number of report suggests that neurologic diseases have a autoimmune basis, phisicians are confronted with new issues in diagnosis and treatment. At the sarne time, our understanding of antibody-induced neurologic disorders as been characterized in lhe last decade by an increasing knowledge of the molecular specificities of autoantibodies. This review summarizes some current concepts in autoimmune diseases of the nervous system.
