Avaliação do desempenho médico através da qualidade do registo dos processos clínicos

Abstract

One way of evaluation the quality of the Health Care, aims the introduction of «Health Care Quality Assurance», and to set up the lines of intervention and of standardization of the clinical performances.

ln this work we have seen 439 clinical processes of four medical services of the Hospital Distrital de Viseu, identified by letters «À», «B», «C» and «D». The  global results are between «Suficient» and «Good». However, the medical service designed by «A» is above the others.

If the «mary Clinical Register» is satisfied, the one of the "Complementary Exams" shows by one side the services «A» and «D» with a level above 80 per­ cent and the others «C» and «B» with leveis of 53, 7 and 33,3 percent respectively. There is the same re­ lationship in others evaluated itens.

None of the 439 processes consulted has the «Con­ sentiment Declaration» for a medical or cirurgical treatment filled in by the patient or by his legal re­presenter.
