Abstract

The author repports his experience in fibroptic bronchoscopy in critically ill patients in intensive care units. 113 patients undenvent bronchoflbers­ copic examinations during 14 monts, 94 receiving mechanical respiratory support. He points out the more important endoscopic views and defines some rufes to accomplish the examination with relative ease.
