Abstract

We present thefirst reported case ofrespiratory distress and stridor due laryngeal tuberculosis to occur in a patient with the Acquired Immunodefici­ency Syndrome (AIDS). As such, larygeal tubercu­losis should considered as a possible cause when an AIDS patient develops respiratory distress.
