Abstract

The authors presents a case of a 76-year old man with a systemic vasculitis which, although wi­thout the typical hystological patterns, fits the classification criteria for Churg-Strauss Syndro­ me developed by the American College of Rheu­matology in 1990.

This case is presented not only for the rarity of this syndrome but also for the particular inte­rest of some of its diagnostic and therapeutic as­pects. A brief review of the literature is also made.
