Following the Alphabet... For the Diagnosis of an Acute Hepatitis E: Case Report
DOI:
https://doi.org/10.24950/rspmi/CC/2/19/4/2019Keywords:
Hepatitis E, Hepatitis E virusAbstract
Classically viral hepatitis is associated with the virus of A,
B and C hepatitis or it can be caused by other viruses. Even
though it is not endemic in Portugal, authors report a sporadic
case of a patient with the diagnosis of acute hepatitis which
came to be revealed as an acute hepatitis E. With this report
authors want to show a rare cause of acute hepatitis, whose
diagnosis should be considered after the exclusion of the more
frequent causes.
