Myofibroblastic inflammatory tumor of the lung is a rare be- nign tumor of unknown etiology. Despite its benign nature is known for its propensity to mimic a malignant process. This entity may mimic most common clinical situations, particu- larly infectious processes, leading to prolonged cycles of antibiotic therapy in the absence of isolation of an agent. It should be suspected in respiratory conditions with suggesti- ve image in the lack of response to therapy. We report a case of a young man presented with a myofibroblastic inflamma- tory tumor of the lung.
