Abstract

Palliative care, through a global and humanized approach, aims to improve the quality of life of those who face an incurable disease - the sick person, their caregivers and family members. The early recognition of these circumstances makes it possible to alleviate suffering, either physical, psychological, emotional or spiritual. This thematic is still often feared and avoided, thus the general concepts around it were the subject of a questionnaire based on the Basic Law of Palliative Care.
