A patient´s case report with chronic gout and large gouty tophus
is presented. Although the pathophysiology and etiology of this
disease are well characterized and effective but inexpensive treatment options available, it remains inadequately addressed. The
main goal is to make clinicians aware of this entity increasing prevalence.
