Polirradiculoneuropatia a CMV associada a SIDA

Os autores descrevem um caso clinico de um adulto Jovem do sexo masculino, homossexual seropositivo VIH 1, que desenvolveu um quadro de polirradiculoneuropatia subaguda sensitivo-motora axonal ascendente e progressiva, associada a pleo citose polimorfonuclear no LCR compativel com diagn´óstico clinico de infecção do sistema nervoso a citomegalovirus (CMV), entidade infrequente, de difícil confirmação laboratorial e resistente à terapêutica, conforme se analisa na literatura prévia consultada.
