Os autores apresentam um caso clínico de anasarca num homem
de 64 anos com antecedentes de tumor neuroendócrino gástrico
metastizado, em quem foi feito o diagnóstico de síndrome de
hiperpermeabilidade capilar, após exclusão de outras causas de edema.
Segue-se uma revisão das principais causas de edema
generalizado e da etiologia e tratamento da síndrome de hiperpermeabilidade capilar.
