Síndroma de Trousseau e Adenocarcinoma do Coto Gástrico

Relata-se o caso clínico de um homem de 82 anos de
idade, com antecedentes de gastrectomia parcial por úlcera
gástrica, admitido no nosso hospital por trombose venosa
da popliteia direita. A investigação realizada conduziu ao
diagnóstico de adenocarcinoma (ADC) da boca anastomótica, já em fase de metastização hepática.
Acentua-se que os doentes gastrectomizados por doenças
benignas têm risco acrescido de ADC e que as síndromas
paraneoplásicas (nomeadamente sob a forma de trombose
venosa e/ou arterial ) podem ser uma manifestação inaugural destes tumores.
