Resumo

Passada mais de uma década sobre a descoberta dos ANCA - Antineutrophil Cytoplasmic Antibodies - não se estabeleceram, ainda, critérios para uma correlação clínica no estudo dos síndromes vasculíticos.

Este artigo pretende rever a importância dos ANCA em alguns aspectos da fisiopatologia, diagnóstico e prognóstico das vasculites, no sentido de facilitar o diagnóstico diferencial.
