Abstract

Mental nerve neuropathy (MNP), also known as the “numb chin”
syndrome, is a rare clinical entity that may be related to several
diseases. We present a clinical case of MNP in a patient with sickle
cell disease and review this association, the finding of MNP in
cancer and its presence in other non-malignant diseases.
