Abstract

After r After refering oxygen and the law of energy conservation as typical efering oxygen and the law of energy conservation astypicalexamples of “silmultaneous discoveries”, the author reflects upon
some of the XXth century discoveries in medicine. Recovering of Mendel’s laws, insulin and DNA are illustrative examples how
scientists can fi nd similar solutions for the some problems at the some time.
