A poliarterite nodosa é uma vasculite necrosante
sistémica que envolve as artérias de pequeno e médio
calibre, atingindo preferencialmente o sistema
nervoso periférico, o rim, a pele, o aparelho digestivo,
o coração e as articulações.
Os autores descrevem dois casos clínicos com
manifestações clínicas e implicações terapêuticas distintas.
