About the Journal

Portuguese Journal of Internal Medicine (RPMI) is the official organ of the Portuguese Society of Internal Medicine (SPMI). The journal is dedicated to promoting the science and practice of Internal Medicine, covering all aspects of Internal Medicine. To this end, it publishes peer-reviewed papers according to the following typology: Originals, Reviews, Points of View, History of Medicine, Short Communications, Letters to the Director, Imaging Medicine, Clinical Cases, Case Series and Guidelines/Consensus). The journal also publishes news and articles on the activities and policies of the Portuguese Society of Internal Medicine.
