Salmonella infection and Aortic Aneurysm in an HIV positive patient: a clinical case

Typhoid fever remains a global public health problem in many
developing countries. However in Mediterranean and industrialized
countries, the disease occurs not only as a result of Salmonella
Tiphi outbreaks but also travelling to endemic areas. The preva- outbreaks but also travelling to endemic areas. The prevalence of Salmonella Tiphi and HIV (Human Imunodefi ciency V and HIV (Human Imunodefi ciency V and HIV (Human Imunodeficiency Vírus)
in our country is rarely mentioned in our literature. The authors
describe a clinical case report of Typhoid fever in an AIDS patient,
which was complicated by an aortic aneurysm.
