Abstract

The authors present 40 cases of Horton’s disease observed between 1984 and 2002 in the
Internal Medicine Department 2 and Autoimmunity outpatient clinic of Santo António dos
Capuchos Hospital.
The purpose of the study is to present a general overview of clinical, diagnostic and
therapeutic procedures and to compare our experience with the data from the literature.
