Abstract

Head injury is one of the most important public health althproblems. Minor head injury accounts for 75% or more of all brain injuries. Perhaps 50% of patients with minor head injury will develop the post-concussion syndrome.

ln spite ofthefrequent occurrence of minor head injury, the post-concusswn syndrome has received li tle attentionfrom the medical community. Nevertheless, the syndrome is a well defined clinical entity with anatomopathologica, electrophysiological and imagiological properties.
